The Bill (Reg. No.0080) envisages ratification of the Agreement that is a framework international agreement which defines the procedure of transfer of information with restricted access and obligations of the Parties concerning protection of such information; principles that regulate access to the information with restricted access; procedure due to which the representatives of the two States are to visit secret objects. The Agreement also coordinates the stamps of restricted access (secrecy degree) to the information.
The Committee members stated that ratification of the Agreement would establish legal foundation for exchange of information with restricted access within the scope of cooperation between Ukraine and Slovakia in the political, economic, military, scientific and technical, and security sectors. According to the People´s Deputies, at present such exchange is fulfilled in compliance with the Law "On State Secret".
